Slovenia: Industrial sector gathers pace in July
Industrial production growth, on an annual basis, jumped to 5.0% in July from 1.2% in June. A breakdown by sub-components showed that a buoyant manufacturing sector drove the overall expansion, countering contractions in mining and quarrying, and the electricity, gas and water supply sector.
On a month-on-month basis, industrial output rebounded in July, growing 2.7% following a 1.7% drop in June. Meanwhile, average annual growth in industrial production remained at 3.0%.
