Slovenia: Industrial production shrinks more slowly in September
Latest reading: Industrial production fell 1.2% in annual terms in September, following a 1.4% decline in the prior month.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, the reading for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply improved in September (-2.1% in annual terms vs -17.7% in August). In contrast, readings worsened for manufacturing (-0.4% vs +0.1% in August) and mining and quarrying (-29.1% vs +4.9% in August).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production rose 1.2% in September, following a 1.5% decline in the previous month.
