Slovakia: Industrial output records largest drop in six months in July
Latest reading: Industrial output fell 4.6% in year-on-year terms in July, which was a larger contraction than June’s 3.6% decrease. July’s outturn marked the worst reading since January. The drop was due to a deterioration in manufacturing production. Moreover, energy supply plus mining and quarrying output dropped at a steeper pace.

Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 0.5%, contrasting June’s plus 0.3% reading.
