Serbia: Industrial output growth eases in June
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 2.5% year on year in June (May: +4.4% yoy). The slowdown was driven by a weaker expansion in manufacturing output. On the flip side, mining and quarrying output and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply rebounded.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 0.3% in June, down from May’s 0.4%. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rose at a 1.2% in June (May: 0.0% mom), the best result since September 2024.
