Romania: Economic sentiment falls in October
Latest reading:    Economic sentiment fell to 91.7 in October, following September’s 93.9. Consequently, the index remained below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy.
In October, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (-2.8 vs -1.8 in September), the services sector (-1.4 vs -0.4 in September) and the retail sector (-7.6 vs -5.2 in September). In contrast, sentiment brightened in the construction sector (-10.8 vs -10.9 in September) and among consumers (-30.5 vs -31.3 in September).
