Poland: Inflation eases in August
Latest reading: According to flash data, inflation fell to 2.8% in August from July’s 3.1%, remaining within the Central Bank’s 1.5–3.5% target range for the second consecutive month. The downtick was due to easing price pressures for energy.
Annual average inflation fell to 4.4% in August from July’s 4.5%.
Finally, consumer prices fell 0.10% month on month in August, after having risen 0.30% in July.
