Poland: Inflation eases in April
Latest reading: Inflation came in at 4.2% in April, down from 4.9% in March but above the 3.5% upper bound of the Central Bank’s target range. Looking at the details of the release, transportation prices fell at the quickest pace in over a year, and price growth for food eased.
Annual average inflation rose to 4.3% in April from 4.2% in March.
Finally, consumer prices inched up 0.40% from the previous month in April, above the 0.40% increase logged in March.
