Netherlands: Industrial output deteriorates in July
Latest reading: Industrial production fell 2.2% month on month in seasonally adjusted terms in July, which was below June’s 0.1% rise. The downturn was due to a sharper decline in manufacturing plus a drop in mining and quarrying. However, water supply output rebounded.
On an annual basis, industrial output fell 0.7% in July, below June’s 0.5% growth. Still, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at 0.2% in July from June’s flat reading.
