Netherlands: Industrial output growth slows in June
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 0.1% month on month in seasonally adjusted terms in June, which was below May’s 0.6% rise. The downtick was due to declines in manufacturing plus water supply output. In contrast, mining and quarrying output rebounded, growing at the fastest pace in over a year.
On an annual basis, industrial output rose 0.6% in June, below May’s 1.7% growth. Accordingly, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production flatlining in June, up from May’s minus 0.3% reading.
