Netherlands: Industrial activity dips in April
Latest reading: Industrial output dropped 0.9% month on month in seasonally adjusted terms in April (March: +0.5% mom s.a.). Both manufacturing and mining and quarrying output swung into decline.
On an annual basis, industrial production rose 0.7% in April, which was below March’s 2.4% expansion. Meanwhile, the trend improved modestly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 0.7% in April, up from March’s minus 1.0%.
