Lithuania: Industrial production rebounds in September
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 0.4% in annual terms in September, following a 2.0% fall in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in September improved for manufacturing (+0.2% on a year-on-year basis vs -2.3% in August) and mining and quarrying (+6.3% vs -14.9% in August). In contrast, the reading for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning softened in September (+4.6% vs +6.8% in August).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was down 1.5% in September, following a 2.6% increase in the previous month.
