Lithuania: Industrial output growth rises in June
Latest reading: Industrial output increased 4.3% year on year in June (May: +0.9% yoy). June’s reading was driven by faster growth in manufacturing output. In addition, mining and quarrying output fell at a more moderate rate.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output fell 2.7% in June (May: +0.9% mom s.a.). Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 6.6% in June (May: +4.9%). This signals an improving trend in the industrial sector.
