Latvia: Industrial output grows at fastest pace since May 2021 in July
Latest reading: Industrial output grew 9.8% year on year in July (June: +7.2% yoy). The figure marked the best reading since May 2021 and largely reflected an improvement in manufacturing plus mining and quarrying output.
On a monthly basis, factory output increased 1.5% in seasonally adjusted terms in July, which was better than June’s 0.9% expansion. Meanwhile, the trend improved notably, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at an over one-year high of minus 4.3%, up from June’s minus 5.1%.
