Kuwait: Inflation dips marginally in May
Latest reading: Inflation dipped to 2.2% in May, below April’s 2.3%. Food and clothing continued to register sizable year-on-year price rises, while transport prices fell amid low global energy prices.
Accordingly, the trend was stable, with annual average inflation coming in at 2.6% in May (April: 2.6%).
Lastly, consumer prices rose 0.15% over the previous month in May, matching the 0.15% rise logged in April.
