Kuwait: Inflation increases in July
Latest reading: Inflation ticked up to 2.4% in July, following June’s 2.3%. Looking at the details of the release, prices for food rose at a quicker rate in July, outweighing a more moderate increase in clothing prices.
Annual average inflation was unchanged at June’s 2.5% in July.
Finally, consumer prices rose 0.22% in July over the previous month, which was below June’s 0.29% rise.
