Korea: Economic activity recovers in September
Latest reading:    Economic activity was up 1.0% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis in September, following a 0.3% decline in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in September improved for services (+1.8% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms vs -0.8% in August) and construction (+11.4% vs -5.3% in August). In contrast, the reading for industrial worsened in September (-1.2% vs +2.2% in August).
In annual terms, economic activity rose 2.0% in September, following a 0.7% increase in the prior month.
