Kazakhstan: Industrial output growth records best reading since February in July
Latest reading: Industrial output expanded 8.9% in year-on-year terms in July (June: +7.2% yoy), marking the fastest growth rate since February. The upturn was driven by a sharper output rise in manufacturing plus electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply. That said, mining and quarrying decelerated, while water supply activity contracted at a sharper rate than in June.
Meanwhile, the trend improved, as annual average industrial production growth rose to 5.1% in July (June: +4.6%).
