Italy: Economic sentiment improves in October
Latest reading: Economic sentiment rose to 100.5 in October, following September’s 99.1.
In October, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (-6.7 vs -7.7 in September), the construction sector (+4.7 vs +2.1 in September), the retail sector (+13.2 vs +9.1 in September) and among consumers (-15.3 vs -15.7 in September). On the flipside, sentiment darkened in the services sector (+2.4 vs +2.5 in September).
