Hungary: Industrial output growth ticks up in February
April 15, 2019
Industrial output increased a working-day-adjusted 5.9% year-on-year in February, outpacing a 5.0% increase in January. According to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), February’s reading was bolstered by manufacturing output in the transport-equipment and electronic-products industries; the manufacturing sector makes up over nine-tenths of the index.
In month-on-month, seasonally- and working-day-adjusted terms, industrial production growth sped up to 1.0% from 0.6% in January.
