Hong Kong: Inflation declines to lowest level since March in June
Latest reading: Inflation came in at 1.5% in June, which was down from May’s 1.9%. June’s figure represented the weakest inflation rate since March, and was well below the rates recorded in most countries in Asia.
Annual average inflation remained at May’s 1.8% in June.
Finally, consumer prices increased a seasonally adjusted 0.09% in June over the previous month, contrasting May’s 0.28% fall. June’s result was the highest reading since January.
