Greece: Unemployment rate falls in May
Latest reading: May’s data sent positive signals regarding the health of the labor market. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 7.9% in May from April’s 8.3%. Moreover, the number of employed people increased by 30,268 compared with April.
Meanwhile, the number of unemployed decreased by 19,260 relative to April. In addition, the number of individuals outside the labor force declined by 13,363 compared with April.
