Greece: Unemployment rate falls in July
Latest reading: July’s data sent positive signals regarding the health of the labor market. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined to 8.0% in July from June’s 9.0%, marking the lowest rate since November 2008. Moreover, the number of employed people increased by 46,082 compared with June.
Meanwhile, the number of unemployed declined by 22,366 relative to June. Additionally, the number of individuals outside the labor force fell by 26,046 compared with June.
