Greece: Industrial output growth moderates in July
Latest reading: Industrial output increased 0.4% month-on-month in seasonally adjusted terms in July (June: +3.1% mom s.a.). July’s notable deterioration was primarily driven by contractions in electricity supply and water supply production. Moreover, manufacturing output rose at a slower pace.
On an annual basis, industrial output fell 0.5% in July (June: +1.0% yoy). Accordingly, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 1.2%, down from June’s 2.2% reading.
