Greece: Industrial output gains momentum in April
Latest reading: Industrial output rose 0.5% month-on-month in seasonally adjusted terms in April (March: -4.5% mom s.a.). April’s notable rebound came on the back of improvements in manufacturing and electricity supply output.
On an annual basis, industrial production dropped 4.3% in April, contrasting March’s 1.6% expansion and marking the worst result since April 2022. Accordingly, annual average industrial production growth fell to 3.7% in April (March: +5.1%). This signals a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
