Germany: Business confidence rises to five-month high in July
Business confidence rose to 90.5 in July from June’s 86.3. July’s result marked the highest sentiment since February, a month prior to the outbreak of the Covid-19 crisis. However, the index remained below the 100-threshold, and indicated pessimism among businesses.
Looking at the details, firms were notably less downbeat regarding the current climate while views on the outlook also improved.
