Finland: Merchandise trade deficit widens in September
Latest reading: In September, the trade balance was EUR -0.7 billion, following a EUR -0.5 billion reading in the previous month. Over the last 12 months, the trade balance summed to EUR -1.0 billion.
Exports rose 0.6% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in September, coming on the back of a 23.0% fall in the prior month, mainly due to a high base of comparison. Imports were up 3.9% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in September, following 2.9% growth in the prior month.
