Estonia: Harmonized inflation rises in May
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation increased to 4.6% in May, following April’s 4.4%. The reading was driven by stronger price pressures for hospitality, recreation and transport.
The trend pointed up slightly, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 3.9% in May (April: 3.8%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation was steady, coming in at April’s 4.5% in May.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices rose 0.15% over the previous month in May, coming in below the 1.15% rise logged in April.
