Estonia: Harmonized inflation rises in April
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation ticked up to 4.4% in April, following March’s 4.3%. The uptick was largely due to rising price pressures for food and recreation which outweighed softer price growth for housing and utilities, hospitality, and transportation.
Annual average harmonized inflation edged up to 3.8% in April (March: 3.7%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation ticked up to 4.5% in April from the previous month’s 4.4%.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices rose 1.15% from the previous month in April, contrasting the 0.30% drop logged in March.
