Ecuador: Inflation flat in November

Consumer prices fell 0.7% over the previous month in November (October: 0.5%), largely reflecting lower prices for transport and food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Meanwhile, inflation was flat in November, down from October’s 0.5%. Lastly, the annual average variation in consumer prices remained at 0.3% November.

Panelists participating in the LatinFocus Consensus Forecast expect inflation to end 2020 at 0.7%, which is unchanged from last month’s estimate. The panel projects inflation ending 2021 at 1.2%.
