Denmark: Manufacturing production rebounds in September
Latest reading: Manufacturing production was up 8.0% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis in September, following a 3.0% fall in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s figures, readings in September improved for non-durable consumer goods (+14.0% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis vs -6.2% in August) and investment goods (+0.8% vs -0.5% in August). In contrast, the reading for intermediate goods worsened in September (-1.6% vs +2.9% in August).
On a seasonally adjusted year-on-year basis, manufacturing production increased 9.7% in September, following a 4.6% drop in the prior month.
