Denmark: Manufacturing production rebounds in June
Latest reading: Manufacturing output increased 2.7% month on month in seasonally adjusted terms in June (May: -0.3% mom s.a.). Looking at the details of the release, investment goods output returned to growth in June. Meanwhile, non-durable consumer goods production grew at a slower pace in June.
On an annual basis, manufacturing output fell 2.7% in seasonally adjusted terms in June, a significant improvement from May’s 6.6% fall and marking the best result since December 2024. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of manufacturing production coming in at minus 0.4% in June, down from May’s flat reading.
