Denmark: Economic sentiment rises in September
Latest reading: Economic sentiment rose to 92.2 in September, following August’s 89.7.Consequently, the index remained below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy.
In September, sentiment brightened in the industrial sector (-12.9 vs -14.6 in August), the services sector (+8.7 vs +7.1 in August) and the retail sector (+5.6 vs -2.6 in August). However, sentiment worsened in the construction sector (-10.7 vs -10.2 in August) and among consumers (-14.6 vs -14.1 in August).
