Denmark: Business sentiment unchanged in July

Business sentiment came in at minus 9.0 in July, matching June's reading. July’s result was the joint-weakest reading since September 2020. As a result, the index remained entrenched below the 0-point threshold, indicating sustained pessimism among businesses.

July’s result reflected businesses’ starker pessimistic views regarding production expectations and less pessimistic views with regard to order backlogs.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect gross fixed investment to increase 3.2% in 2022, which is up 1.1 percentage points from last month’s forecast, and 2.0% in 2023.
