Denmark: Business confidence records over two-and-a-half years high in March

Business confidence among firms in the manufacturing sector increased in March, with sentiment clocking in at 1 from February’s minus 3. Consequently, the index broke through the 0-point threshold, separating optimism from pessimism among businesses for the first time since August 2018.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect gross fixed investment to increase 2.5% in 2021, which is unchanged from last month’s forecast, and 3.7% in 2022.
