Czech Republic: Industrial output decline softens in June
Latest reading: Industrial output dropped 1.1% in month-on-month seasonally adjusted terms in June, which was above May’s 1.6% decrease. The smaller drop was due to a rebound in manufacturing output and a softer decline in mining. In contrast, energy supply fell heavily.
On an annual calendar-adjusted basis, factory output rose 0.2% in June, which was below May’s 2.2% expansion, and marked the worst result since January 2025. Meanwhile, the trend improved slightly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at 0.1% in June, contrasting May’s minus 0.1%.
