Cyprus: Industrial output rebounds in July
Latest reading: Industrial output rose 0.7% year on year in calendar-adjusted terms in July (June: -1.1% c.a. yoy). The turnaround came on the back of improvements in manufacturing and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply output.
Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 1.7% in July (June: +1.9%), which marked an over one-year low. On a monthly basis, industrial production grew 0.5% in seasonally adjusted terms in July, rebounding from June’s 0.1% fall.
