Cyprus: Industrial output growth moderates in March
Latest reading: Industrial output expanded 2.0% year on year in calendar-adjusted terms in March, which was a deterioration from February’s 6.9% increase. The figure was primarily driven by weaker manufacturing output. In addition, mining and quarrying output lost pace.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 2.6% in March, down from February’s 3.0%. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output fell 1.2% in March (February: +0.8% s.a. mom).
