Croatia: Industrial output growth picks up pace in June
Latest reading: Industrial production increased 2.1% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in June (May: +1.8% yoy). The improvement was driven by rebounds in mining and quarrying output and in addition, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply rebounded. That said, manufacturing production rose at a slower pace.
Meanwhile, the trend improved notably, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 1.9% in June, up from May’s 1.0% reading. On a seasonally and calendar adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell at a more moderate pace of 1.3% in June (May: -2.9% mom s.a.).
