Croatia: Economic sentiment worsens in September
Latest reading: Economic sentiment declined to 104.6 in September, following August’s 105.1. Still, the index remained above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In September, sentiment worsened in the construction sector (+11.9 vs +13.3 in August), the services sector (+8.8 vs +20.2 in August) and among consumers (-13.3 vs -12.3 in August). In contrast, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (+3.9 vs -0.2 in August) and the retail sector (+3.9 vs +3.8 in August).
