China: Inflation returns in October
Latest reading: Consumer prices rose 0.2% in annual terms in October, following a 0.3% decline in the previous month and above market expectations. Non-food inflation picked up, supported by stronger holiday spending during the Golden Week, while transport costs fell at a slower pace.
Finally, consumer prices were up 0.20% in October on a month-on-month basis, following a 0.10% rise in the prior month.
