Belarus: Industrial output growth dips to an over two-year low
Latest reading: Industrial production growth inched up to 1.4% year on year in March (March: +2.1% yoy), marking the weakest reading since February 2023 and remaining weak by post-pandemic standards. Looking at the details of the release, improved readings for mining, energy output and water supply outweighed a softer increase in manufacturing production.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production dropping to 5.1% from March’s 5.7%, the softest result since December 2023.
