Angola: Inflation hits near three-year high in November

Consumer prices rose 2.14% over the previous month in November, picking up from the 1.99% rise logged in October. The result marked the steepest monthly increase in prices since September 2018 and was driven by stronger rises in clothing and footwear; food; and rent prices.

Inflation came in at 24.9% in November, which was up from October’s 24.1%. November’s result marked the highest inflation rate since January 2018.
