Spain: Housing permits increase in September
The Spanish Board of Architects approved 11,468 new construction permits in September, according to data published by the Ministry of Public Works. The figure was above the 8,488 permits granted in September 2020 and the 6,253 permits granted in August 2021. On an annual basis, permits increased 35.1%, following August’s 17.5% rise.
Meanwhile, the moving three-month sum of permits totaled 28,001 in September, which represented a 36.7% jump from the same period of 2020 and followed the 32.6% increase recorded in August.
