Serbia: Industrial output growth wanes in April
Latest reading: Industrial production increased 2.3% year on year in April (March: +6.9% yoy). The deceleration was driven by a smaller expansion in manufacturing production and a decline in mining and quarrying output.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 0.3%, down from March’s flat reading. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, factory output fell 0.2% in April (March: +0.5% s.a. mom).
