July 19, 2019

July’s uptick was attributable to slight improvements in consumers’ expectations of the macroeconomic situation and assessment over their capacity to save.FocusEconomics analysts expect household spending to grow 1.2% in 2019, which is up 0.1 percentage points from last month’s forecast, and 1.6% in 2020.
