Grecia: Industrial output growth picks up pace in April
Industrial production increased 4.2% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in April (March: +0.1% yoy). Looking at the details of the release, electricity supply output rebounded strongly. That said, manufacturing production grew at a slower rate, while water supply production swung into contraction.
Meanwhile, the trend improved notably, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 2.3%, up from March’s 1.6% reading.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output fell at a 1.9% in April (March: 0.0% mom), the worst result since September 2022.
