Bielorrusia: Industrial output softens in April

Industrial output grew by 3.8% year on year in April, down from March’s 9.2% increase. The moderation marked the third consecutive expansion in production since the start of the Russia–Ukraine war in February 2022, and likely came on the back of a strong base effect.

That said, annual average industrial production improved to -8.9% in March (February: -11.4%).
