Ukraine: Consumer prices continue to fall in February

In February, consumer prices fell 0.1% over the previous month, which was down from the 0.2% increase recorded in the previous month. The monthly print mainly reflects lower prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco as well as for clothing and footwear.
On a year-on-year basis, consumer prices dropped 0.5% in February, following the 0.2% fall seen in January.
FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panellists expect inflation to reach 7.3% in 2013, which is down 0.1 percentage points from last month's forecast. For next year, the panel sees inflation moderating to 6.5%.
