Slovenia: Industrial production slows in June
August 10, 2011
In June, industrial output expanded 1.9% over the same month the previous year, which was well below May's 6.1% increase. The June print represented the lowest increase since February 2010. Seasonally adjusted data corroborate the slowdown suggested by the annual figures, as industrial production contracted 2.6% over the previous month in June (May: +4.1% month-on-month). Owing to the weak annual reading in June, annual average growth in industrial production continued pointing downwards and decelerated from 8.0% in May to 7.3%.
