Slovakia: Inflation slows in November on transport prices
December 12, 2012
In November, consumer prices remained flat over the previous month, which was down from the 0.3% rise tallied in October. The monthly print mainly reflected how lower prices for transport were offset by higher prices in most of the remaining categories.
Building on the subdued monthly reading, annual headline inflation fell from 3.8% in October to 3.4% in November, which represents the lowest level recorded since May. Meanwhile, annual average HICP inflation (based on the harmonized index of consumer prices) fell from 4.0% in October to 3.8% in November.
